[40] - [Voice]
[Sounding irritated. And is so oblivious to the fact he's been gone for a while, but has noticed quite a few new posts. Even if Crane hasn't bothered to read them.]
It's amazing how much all of you can talk in one day. This is some kind of flood, I assume?
[Added later. Angry Crane is angry.]
Oh, good show, Admiral. I'll keep in mind that abrupt disappearances are now one of the many punishment options that you offer alongside floods, ports and zero. Bravo.
[Private - Eddie]
Are you in the infirmary? [That fear toxin was heavy stuff.]
[Private - Hayley]
I had to use that toxin for other purposes. It wasn't anything personal.
[Private - Eames]
We need to talk. [Added later.] Did you know that the Admiral was going to do that?

[Private] YOU ARE SO GOOD TO ME
The Rogues.
[Private] YOU ARE SUNSHINE BB <3
And Nygma, presumably? Or was that later?
[Private] asdfkhjaks <333
We've talked the most since arriving here. Our respective reputations are such we knew the other existed. It went from there.
[Private] :D
Oh, so you two are firm friends now? Despite the past unpleasantness on the barge?
[Private] :D
[ Heh. ]
I'm a practical man, Crane. Not a sadist nor a butcher who delights in the sight of blood.
Nygma knows that.
We're "acquaintances", not friends. We do each other favors, and that's about it.
Not everyone holds a grudge.
[Private] :D
[Pause.] Of course you are. But the thing is, you see things too clinically. It's human nature for people to hold a grudge, even if you think it's illogical.
Then again, this is Nygma we're talking about. He isn't a fan of doing the expected.
[Private] :D
[ This said matter-of-factly. ]
I see things the way I've been trained to see them, Crane.
If you're going to hold a grudge on behalf of your friend, that's fine. We can end this conversation now, if that's what you'd prefer.
[Private] :D
[Oh, new Slade information.] Trained? Were you in the military or the police force?
I don't particularly mind. Nygma certainly doesn't seem overly bothered.
[Private] :D
[ You think he got that muscular doing nothing, Crane? Really? ]
Military. I expanded my horizons when my term of service was done.
[ Glossing over his background quite nicely there. Also, he doesn't believe you. ]
Then why bring it up?
[Private] :D
Of course you did. Most people would describe that sort of thing as being a thug. [Not quite, Crane.]
Because if happened. People don't just forget about these things.
[Private] :D
Thugs don't get the same pay for services rendered.
Like you.
