It's amazing how much all of you can talk in one day. This is some kind of flood, I assume?

Oh, good show, Admiral. I'll keep in mind that abrupt disappearances are now one of the many punishment options that you offer alongside floods, ports and zero. Bravo.

Consider for a moment if the world was populated by hundreds of people with Batman's means and ideals, or the opposite thereof. People who can fly and shoot laser beams from their eyes, what ave you. Then, imagine if all of them, "hero" and "villain" alike united along their respective lines and clashed in the streets.

We've talked the most since arriving here. Our respective reputations are such we knew the other existed. It went from there.

That sounds like anarchy. Incredibly destructive anarchy. These 'powers' aren't something that people like the Batman could ever use responsibly or appropriately.

Oh, so you two are firm friends now? Despite the past unpleasantness on the barge?

We're "acquaintances", not friends. We do each other favors, and that's about it.

Not everyone holds a grudge.

[Pause.] Of course you are. But the thing is, you see things too clinically. It's human nature for people to hold a grudge, even if you think it's illogical.

Then again, this is Nygma we're talking about. He isn't a fan of doing the expected.

If you're going to hold a grudge on behalf of your friend, that's fine. We can end this conversation now, if that's what you'd prefer.
