[10] - Voice Post

Well that was interesting. I'd like to suggest a new response to floods of this nature (if you'll excuse the pun). Now that the flood has finished, I suggest we never speak of this again.

Except, of course, for those who showed a very poor level of behaviour. You know who you are.

[Private - Dr Facilier]

Did you manage to perform the task I asked you about?

[Private - Eddie Nygma]

I'm starting the process. The equipment better still be on offer.

[Private - The Joker]

Would I be able to ask you some questions? About Gotham?

Now a casual listener might think you felt uncomfortable during this flood.

Oh, uh, you. I saw that you were no longer in the infirmary. I take it that you're feeling better? [Crane does not make this sound like it's a good thing.]

And feeling uncomfortable in floods is normal. I was an animal.

Oh me. Feeling right as rain, actually. I didn't see a get well card from you though. And here I thought we were friends.

Humans are animals. Besides, as a shrink I'd think you'd be salivating at the chance to deconstruct why certain people changed into certain creatures.

I had other things to tend to.

And there's no reason for what people changed into, apart from the whims of the Admiral. However, I can, and have, been deconstructing individual reactions.

Frankly, many inmates degenerated far too quickly into animal behavior. Indicating that their ordinary behavior is only just above a primal level. I'm not surprised.
