[39] - [Voice/Video]
[Warden Filter]
I'm not sure which one of you is Arthas' warden, because I've never really cared that much before, but why is he not in zero? Constantly? Surely you could just keep him in there for a week, bring him up for an hour, and then put him in there for another week.
[Private - Eames]
Want to see something interesting? In the spirit of honesty and full disclosure? [Have a video of Arthas' note before it swaps back to voice.] I'm going to end up dead by the end of the week. [Said like it's a fact.]
[Private - Eddie]
You know that bit where you implied that this was under control? This is not under control.
[Added later - Private - Tirion]
Apparently you're Arthas' warden. You should contact my warden, Eames. I've got an issue with Arthas, to say the least.
[OOC: Crane is not amused by Arthas' note. And sorry for the Crane spam, guys. :c]

I hope that his warden chooses to put him in zero. It's safer for everyone. [But particularly Crane.]
Re: [Private]
I tend to agree with you. But until then a change in location would be advisable.
[Private]
I'm going to be with Eames. Staying on my own is nothing less than foolhardiness.
Re: [Private]
This is wise. I wish you luck.
[Private]
Yes. Thank you for the book, by the way.
Re: [Private]
You are welcome. I hope that you are finding relevance in it.

Thank you for telling me.
You're staying with me until further notice. You won't go anywhere isolated without informing me of such first, or going with someone. Both conditions are optional, but I suggest it for your own protection.

That sounds more than suitable. Frankly, I don't trust Arthas not to take me down in the middle of a corridor. While the note could be fake or a prank, I'm not taking the risk.

Do you want to see the note as well?

Have you got a camera?
Private
No, I don't. Only my journal.

[Crane breaks off the connection, and then you get a ten second shot of the note.]
[And then Crane's on his way to Eames' room as quickly as possible, having left the note as it was. He doesn't bother knocking and goes to open it, but hey, it's locked. So Crane knocks quickly, because he really, really doesn't want to be in the corridor right now.]

I put the note back. [Crane paused before continuing.] I honestly had expected Arthas to not ask for a replacement. I had tried to explain to him before that I couldn't make any more.

"You can give him the fake vial that was left by whoever stole his." [The reply was curt, since the warden was still confident that that theft was related to whoever Crane had spoken to.] "How did you make them here?"
[He wasn't looking at Crane, though his mood wasn't unpleasant.]

The fake vial will probably work, unless he decides he's still angry. I might leave it somewhere for him to collect so I don't have to physically interact with him. [Which would have ended horribly. Crane walked over to the same chair where he'd been in last time and sat down.] And unfortunately, I can't tell you how I made them here.
[He watched Eames carefully for his response.]

"I haven't decided on whether I can trust you with the fake vial yet," [He continued, more pensive. Then he slid a blank paper over the things he was working on and set down his pen, looking up to Crane now.] "Who else did you tell about the vial being stolen, at the same time or before you told me?"

It was all under control. This new development is a fault of your warden's. It does force you to be dependent on him for protection, however, so there's a beneficial aspect. For him.
Give Arthas the fake. Problem temporarily solved.
Private
Are you trying to say that this is some grand scheme on my warden's part? Because in all honesty, the only thing the last couple of days have proven is Arthas' immense ability to behave in unpredictable ways.
I might, but I want a vial of the real thing. I have a feeling that I'll need it.

"Do you see what happens when you talk to wardens?"
I gather from that note that Eames (or whoever else you've dragged into this, I can't be sure) has grounds to act on the toxin being a fake. Arthas doesn't posses the mental capacity to make a deduction on this matter, nor would he have noticed this early-- he has been on deck, amongst the snow all day, from what I've seen, which means,
A) You told one of the wardens involved, who told him.
B) Someone has another toxin to make comparisons with. Because that is the only way someone would have noticed the slight differences this early on without your assistance..
The only thing unpredictable about Arthas is how many highlights will be seen in his hair in a single day. What is unpredictable, is your warden friends' response to him, and to you, your mistakes. The only thing they've or he or she has manage to do so far is place Arthas back on your trail.
[Private]
May I ask you what is your issue with Arthas?
