This is the worst thing. [Crane sounds young. And crackly. And sulky.] Why don't I get to be old? It's much better than being like this. I don't even know if my higher brain... [Pause. For a long second.] workings are working. I'm not leaving my room until it's over.

Also all the old people should stay away from all the not old people. They might have diseases. But I would still rather be with the old people.

The Admiral should have made us old. I hate this. [Crane's assuming that Capa's the same age as him. Because of the animal flood.]

[OOC: So, kid!Crane isn't operating on the same level as standard Crane. And also has a bit of barely suppressed anxiety about old people, particularly old women, stemming from his origin comic.]

I don't exactly know. Well into my eighties, I assume.

That must be uncomfortable.

As long as I don't move, I'm fine.

I would tell you to sit in the sun, but the barge doesn't have a sun and the CES is dangerous when you're old.

I'm fine here. Back [in my day] on the Icarus, we would have nothing to do but sit for hours, waiting on something or other. This is nothing.
