Given that the prototype for the tranquilizer is going so well, it's probably time that we tried it out. We'll need a delivery system and something or someone to test it on. Voluntarily, of course. I also think the CES might also offer a controlled, yet variable environment to do testing in.

What are your credentials?

I should be asking what yours are.

[A pause. Being friendly, must attempt to do so.] I'm a trained psychiatrist, specializing in psychopharmacology. I'm also a warden.

I was a trauma surgeon at one of the top hospitals on Osris.

Do you mind if I ask why you were an inmate?

How fitting. You'll do well on the barge.

That's a fair question. [A pause, but he continues.] I don't intend to practice in the same area that I've had issues with in the past. However, given that the Admiral and my warden have considered it appropriate that I've graduated, I don't see why my working in the infirmary in a more general sense should be an issue.

I'd still like to know what area that was, considering how often floods make us act differently than we usually would. If you're uncomfortable telling me, I could contact your former warden.

I doubt that he'd tell you, since he's not obliged to. But in the spirit of good faith, it was around hallucinogenic drugs. Unless the infirmary has gotten far more new age in its treatments in the past few weeks, it shouldn't come up.

Is there a reason why you're so suspicious of the rest of us? It's not exactly lending itself to a friendly potential work environment.

Considering my own background and experiences, I'm a firm believer that doctors should be held to a high level of scrutiny wherever they work.
