doctor_j_crane: Crane looking unimpressed. (O rly)
[Private - Rex]

Rex, I would like to know if your currently level of maturity has dropped, because apparently this flood makes that possible. Even for you.

[Are you a kid, Rex?]

If not, I should make it clear that asking inmates and wardens afflicted by this flood questions about their lives, pasts and budding personality disorders is not appropriate behavior. Furthermore, please refrain from doing any experiments on them. This includes social experiments.

[Public]

To our new guests, if you find any keys in your possession could you please give them to an adult warden?

[Children with keys that access to lab, infirmary or engine room? What could possibly go wrong.]

[Private to Kay, Narvin and Dracula]

Given that the prototype for the tranquilizer is going so well, it's probably time that we tried it out. We'll need a delivery system and something or someone to test it on. Voluntarily, of course. I also think the CES might also offer a controlled, yet variable environment to do testing in.

[Private to Infirmary Staff]

Who is in charge in the infirmary at the moment and which one of you is Simon Tam?

[Public]

How many of you know basic first aid? I assume that most of you know next to nothing, but I'd quite like to be proven wrong.
doctor_j_crane: Crane looking to the left, making a weird face. (Not awesome)
I don't like that Narvin can decide when I work in the lab based on his social calender. I'd like to have Capa placed in charge of my lab supervision, given that it's not like he has an off barge social life in the slightest.

I'd also like some explanation of that Alpha fellow. You didn't seem to have an overly comfortable conversation with him on your journal. [Stalker Crane is stalking you, Kay.]
doctor_j_crane: Crane looking like he's arguing. (Let me explain)
I'm not going to talk about what happened during the flood. Deal with it.

[Pause, before continuing on.] And you know what else? I'm done. I'm finished with this wider barge program. I officially do not care about what any other warden does except my own. Almost none of you deserve to be a warden. You victimize your inmates, you victimize other inmates. You victimize each other. Whatever the Admiral is offering you? You don't deserve it. You negated your right to receive it as soon as you stopped doing your job. I may be "crazy", as so many of you like to tell me to my face, but at least I know exactly what I am and what I've done. All of you might like to have a good long look in the mirror and then a good long look at your inmate. Because for most of you? There isn't much of a difference.

I'm not going to highlight who this doesn't apply to. You know who you are.

[Private - Eames]

Do you want a full detailed write up or a summary? Because I feel like that flood severely impaired my ability to coherently deal with people for a while there.
doctor_j_crane: Crane looking neutral. (Seen my mask?)
[So terribly public.]

Let's have a conversation, shall we? What's a theme that no one has ever discussed? Let me think. The wardens, perhaps? How terrible they are? How your warden does love you enough? How you feel like there's not justice in the system? [Crane laughs.]

Let's reestablish the facts. You have been kidnapped. You are being held in a prison against your will, by force. You have been stripped of your powers, if you have any. You have a personal jailer. This is not a situation where you can expect justice. This is not a situation where you have 'human rights'. You do not have control. You cannot change this situation. [Crane almost says resistance is futile, but that seems like laying it on a bit thick.]

Arthas is right. By all means, sit and whine impotently or take the other option of rising against the wardens. But do you know something? It won't make a difference. You cannot overthrow them. If you want to leave, you're either going to disappear one morning or you're going to graduate.

[Pause in the rant. Crane shrugs.]

I have a truly strange suggestion. Perhaps due to my aversion of simply disappearing one day, why don't we all focus a little bit harder on attempting to graduate? Swing did it. It can't be that hard. And frankly, [dropping to a low, 'meaningful' voice.] how many of you can say that here is really all that worse then where you would have been otherwise?

[OOC: What do you do when you finally have the promise of lab access? Make a pro-warden speech! Behold, a pretty obvious attempt to get Capa's trust so Crane can make more fear toxin to make everyone have an extra wonderful day.]
doctor_j_crane: Crane looking neutral. (Shrink Talk)
One never realizes how pleasant the room system is until one is forced into close proximity with others. Still, I suppose the infirmary does what it can given that they're far from a trained medical team. It's almost adequate, especially given the bizarre medical situations that they're faced with. It's a pity that qualified inmates aren't allowed to take any significant role. [Subtle hinting there Crane.]

[Private - Ms Rose]

I'll need the key to my room back. I trust that everything went well?

[Private - Edward Nygma]

I need to talk to you about using your equipment. It's for something slightly different than in the past. I also need to pick up my sample of the fear toxin.

[Private - Piper]

[Pause at the start before Crane starts talking.] I haven't told anyone about the situation with your son. I don't intend to do so. It's too much leverage for any other inmates.
doctor_j_crane: Crane looking neutral. (More shrink talk)
I have a specimen that I think has lived in a bucket for a little too long. I would like a proper enclosure for it. Admiral, it can be plastic if you don't think I can be trusted with glass. [Crane sounds thoroughly unimpressed by this. He's referring to a non poisonous huntsman spider, that appeared in a Rom Com cupboard with Eddie and himself.]

[Crane pauses before continuing.] I'm rather surprised that the murder in the garden was handled so well. Was it because the culprit was reasonably obvious or due to actual police work?

[Private - Rose]

The garden is less quiet than I would have expected. I trust that you weren't affected by the recent events?

[Private - Hayley]

I want to show you some instructions. I need to know if you're capable of performing them.
