doctor_j_crane: (Mask lol what)
I would like to inform you all that the large amount of mixing species in the port will probably lead to a wide variety of intergalactic diseases that one can acquire. Staying on the barge would likely be your best option. For those of you who simply cannot resist your more base urges, I'm sure that you'll have a great deal of exciting time in the infirmary later. At the very least, it should give them something new to study.

Before anyone asks, I'm not entirely sure if this is my Gotham or another one. I'd advise you avoid anyone in a scarecrow costume if you go into port. I can't guarantee any quick fix antidotes for any toxins that another me might have, even if I did deign to attempt to make one.

[Private - Kay]

I want to go down into the city. I know it's dangerous down there, but I think that there are some things I need to do.

[Private - Eddie N.]

So, is this the Gotham that you call home?

[Private - Capa]

Are you going into port? I probably wouldn't recommend it, considering that someone with our appearance might be here.

[OOC: Herp de derp, Crane hasn't worked out that there isn't another Crane in port.]
doctor_j_crane: Crane looking neutral. (Sure/Conern)
[Crane's doing a video post, and you can see that he's leaning against a wall. People who have visited Crane's room before might recognize that it's not his, but other than that it's a rather neutral background.]

Despite the continued door issues, I think it's fairly clear that whatever the Admiral was keeping locked in some rooms has managed to break out to some extent. I keep seeing things in my peripheral vision. Now would be a good time for people with expertise in the area to start doing some studies. It's clearly only a matter of time before they become fully corporeal and start attacking us.

[Has someone done a 180 and started asking magical people for help? Why yes. Yes, he has.]

[Private - Rassilon]

Have you seen these things? Or tried your weapon on them? They might disappear too fast, but it could have the potential to ward them off.

[Private - Arthas]

Are you still having those dreams?

[This would be private to Perry, but the journal has malfunctioned, making it GLORIOUSLY PUBLIC. If a bit staticy.]

I changed my mind. I'll meet. Whatever you've got to say had better be good. Because I swear to god, Dawsey, if you attack me or otherwise stab me in the back, I am going to cut your throat in your sleep. I'm not joking.
doctor_j_crane: Crane looking neutral. (In my crazy corner)
[The angle swings around a bit before it settles on Crane. It's hard to work the buttons with his hands shaking like that. Ah, fear toxin karma. The best variety. Crane is talking very, very quickly.]

It's compelling. Rationally, I am aware of exactly what process my mind is going through. My body. Pulse racing. Perception warping. I can almost pinpoint to the minute of when I would have been dosed. When the reaction began. [Pause.] Perhaps when it ends. Possibly fatally. It depends on the dosage. If I've built up a resistance. If the resistance still lasts through the death toll.

[Crane twitches, before moving slightly to the left, as if there was something sitting next to him.]

I have quite a list of suspects. The Bat Man, for obvious reasons. Eames, in the spirit of extreme wardening. Perhaps. Nygma, because... [Crane trails off. There's no good reason.] It could have been any of you. All of you.

[Crane twitches again, before shifting the camera away from himself.]

I tried to take notes. [He continues, in a very slow voice.] But the hallucinations make it hard to see exactly what I've written. [The camera hovers over a notebook. Crane's right. He's written most of his sentences over the top of each other. What little is legible is a collection of disturbed rambling.] Writing it down didn't help. It didn't help at all.

[Private to Eames and Bruce Wayne.]

So, apparently a certain group of inmates are attempting to play some sort of game that involves selecting a person on board the barge to be killed. Eddie Brock, Arthas, possibly some others. [He hasn't seen the others reply.] It's uncertain whether it's an actual game or whether they are really planning a murder. But if Arthas is involved I doubt that it's just a party game.

It appears to be organized by Jason Todd. And you're first on the list, Wayne.

My new warden is a detective. The irony is not lost on me, Admiral. [Sigh.] It does make one wonder. Does anyone actually like their warden?

[Private - Hayley]

Is your warden likely to search your room?

[Private - Rose (Wicker Man)]

I need a favor. It's nothing serious, just minding a few of my things.

[Private - Riddler]

I need to talk to you regarding my sample of the fear toxin. [Assuming Crane has it after he made it, but he wants to give it to Eddie for safekeeping.]

[Private - Irene]

I need to know what you took when you went into my room. It's nothing personal, I'm just keeping track of things.

[Closet - Eighth Floor.]

[Mysteriously has some plants appear on the very top shelf, pushed far back and hidden behind an old box. Also a bucket of potting soil placed on the very bottom shelf on the opposite side.]

OOC: what's going on here. )
doctor_j_crane: Crane looking neutral. (I See)
Have fun at your drunken party, boys and girls. Some positive social gathering on the barge could be good for morale. [Crane sounds patronizing, but sincere.]

[Private - Hayley Stark]

Having any more luck with recalling your memories?

[Private - Eddie Nygma]

I'm setting the time to meet with Slade. He'll be sufficiently distracted for you to do whatever you need to do.

[Private - Slade]

A word, if you'd please. I have something that I need to discuss with you.

[Private - Rose]

May I ask you for a favor? I need your assistance with a situation that may become an issue.

[Private - Piper]

Can I work in the garden?
doctor_j_crane: Crane looking neutral. (Neutral)
[Warden filtered so hard, and away from Piper.]

Considering the nature of this flood, this is probably the best time to make a complaint.

Don't you people have some rules against wardens who use magic against their inmates? I'm fairly sure that constitutes a cruel and unusual punishment, especially when I haven't even done anything. Lately. [Crane pauses for a second. He's not impressed with this truth flood.]

Frankly, we all get enough of that with the ports and floods. I don't think it's fair to be targeted with even more of this ridiculousness. I was also under the impression that this graduation business was meant to be voluntary, not something that I was forced into doing because Halliwell is on a power trip.

[Private - Rose.]

I don't think that I was wrong about what I said.

[OOC: Bawww, whiny Crane is whiny. Feel free to tell Piper, question him about other stuff ect ect. He's having a bad week.]
doctor_j_crane: Crane looking neutral. (Default)
[Crane sounds somewhat off balance – meeting Capa has shaken him a bit.]

When I first came here, someone, Alastair, perhaps, said that there was no difference between new meat and old meat. It’s true, for all of you new people. Half of you will disappear, the other half will wish they had. You will all be thrown into the same misery as the rest of us. And you will all act exactly the same, like the little sheep that you are.

Just some friendly words of advice, of course.

Private messages: Piper, Sylar, Rose, the Riddler and Batboy. )

A flood? What on earth is that supposed to be? There isn't water anywhere, even if this place was so poorly architecturally designed that it didn't have a sufficient drainage system.

If this is some kind code for a change of medication, I'm going to find the Admiral and show him exactly what it's like to be... [crossed out words are illegible]

...Dr. Facilier, I've also been considering your strange shadow creature. I want to know how it works. You must have been quite inventive to create a being of such lifelike proportions. It's genius, in its way.

[Private to Max]

A Doctor was looking for volunteers in the infirmary. Since menial labor is apparently a meaningful occupation, can I have permission to volunteer? Considering my past medical experience, I think I'd be more then competant in an emergency.
