As you're in charge of the Narcotics Anonymous program, I thought that I should make it clear that I'm willing to organize methadone programs and similar withdrawal treatments for any inmates or wardens that require them. I'm of the opinion that patients having more control over the process normally leads to more positive results.

Anonymity does seem crucial, since so much of recovery is based on personal choices and empowerment.

More or less. Suffice to say, being a warden doesn't always mean that you agree with the general warden consensus. Negotiation appears to be an important skill.

You'd be amazed how many of them don't even get that much. The A part of NA, I mean. Like maybe it's better off not being in, you know... consensus, sometimes.

You'll find that I'm of the opinion that doctor-patient confidentiality is equal to warden-inmate responsibility. The warden shouldn't always by privy to all the medical requirements and decisions of their inmate. It isn't ethical.

Yeah... I think anyone who was an inmate gets that much. [Although he has to admit, looking at it from the other side, the idea of Tommy keeping some medical issue secret from him kind of stresses him out.

Good thing he has a cure for that!]

As someone who once stitched back on their own arm, I can understand where they're coming from.

Needless to say, I would rather spare other people that same experiments. Also, I wasn't human for most of the stitching. It was less painful than it sounds.

Trust me, it's related. If an inmate got a similar wound from a fight that they didn't want to report to their warden, what happens then?

...I mean, they'd probably notice the arm though, right?

You would be surprised. Especially with non-human individuals, wounds can be very hard to detect.
