I’m out of zero, since the warden administration decided to get their act together. [Eye roll, Crane’s obviously not impressed with the time he spent down there.]

Unsurprisingly, nothing has changed. Good job though, with getting rid of the fear gas mess so far. The dining hall is looking quite pleasant. You could almost eat your lunch there without thinking about someone getting murdered where your chair is. [Crane just smiles at the camera for a long moment, before flicking it off.]

I don’t suppose you know anything about this? [Crane holds up a wad of paper which appears to be a file on Irene, with a kiss in lipstick on the top. He’s put it in a plastic sleeve to avoid touching the icky lady germs.]

I’m out of zero, finally, but you’re not in the infirmary. Where are you?

In conjunction with a greater plan, it could have served a purpose. But I suppose we'll never know now.

It's hardly like the information has leaked out of my head. There will be other opportunities in the future.

No, but the materials will be more difficult to come by. After all, the Wardens know what you're capable of now.

Yes. There's not way around that, except waiting for it to pass. Which may take quite a while.

Out of curiosity, apart from your apparent fixation with snakes, what is it that you do?

What do you mean? I just do what's asked of me by the wardens. Lab work, mostly.

I meant before the barge. It's fairly apparent by your behaviour that you align yourself closely with the wardens now.

I did much of the same prior to my arrival. And I don't align myself with either group, wardens or inmates. They're both equally incompetent.

Well, I certainly can't deny that. They seem to be having a sort of competition as to who can be the most spectacularly incompetent at any given time. I would say that the wardens were winning, but as an inmate I may have some personal bias.
