Are there any other flood effects that are taking a while to wear off? [Have some pained breathing and a slight gagging sound.]

[Infirmary Filter]

I need a doctor. Now.

[OOC: Crane's costume (scarecrow) has worn off, but unfortunately it turns out all that straw that he kept on having to collect and put back inside himself equates to actual body parts, just like the damage to his costume in general is still there. So his insides are a bit jumbled. Feel free to find some bits around the barge if your pup isn't too busy putting out fires and whatnot.]

I don't care. [It was a rare moment of sternness for the woman, but when people interfered with her patients, she tended to get a little upset. Especially when they cried out. She didn't care if he was faking or not.]

Go away. Now. [She dug around in her bag, pulling out a syringe.] I'm going to do what I can for you here, Doctor Crane...at least get you well enough to go to the infirmary. [She was honestly afraid he might just...fall apart if they tried to move him that far.]

[Eddie flinched sympathetically at the yell. There was blood building up beneath his arm, coating the material of his blazer a thick, dark, ruby red, and ploy or not, the rough contact had to have caused a significant amount of hurt.]

If I move, he'll start bleeding again. Surely you, as a medical doctor, can understand the benefit of pressure on a deep wound. [He shifts a bit, leaning down to mutter in Crane's ear. Quiet enough not to be heard by Sveta.] This is just putting you higher on the hook. Try not to hang yourself while you're up there.

I just went to see certain places on board. What I took won't affect you. [Crane hissed to Eddie, hopefully in a low enough voice that Sveta wouldn't be able to pick up on it. What he really wanted right now was to be injected with whatever was in that syringe as soon as possible. The closer he was to passing out, the better. From an emotional angle, anyway.] I would really like some drugs, preferably now.

[Sveta just glared at Eddie, but soon was too focused on loading the syringe.] Be patient...[She told him softly and then focused on his "guest."]

If you're going to stay, then you're going to work. Carefully help him onto the bed. This should put him to sleep and I don't want him asleep in his chair. [She was going to have to work with the lesser of two evils. She knew she shouldn't move him but...he'd be hurt worse if he fell after sedation.]

Oh, now I'm relieved. Honestly. [Eddie snapped back, louder than intended. He watched for a response from Sveta out of the corner of his eye, and then grabbed the side of Crane's shirt as if it were a handle. Raising to his feet, he pulled the smaller man into an awkward standing position and began the short journey over to the bed.]

You should carry a leather stick. [He commented off offhandedly, already in the process of lowering Jonathan onto the bed.]

[Crane was in a ridiculously large amount of pain. Not to mention the fact that all of that blood on the floor was making him feel nauseous all over again. Unless his insides were mixed up. Which he very much hoped that they weren't.]

Leather stick? [Crane repeated, not quite understanding the reference. He sat down on the bed. He probably ought to give Sveta more medical information, but nothing was coming to mind.]

[Sveta remembered enough from the last time that he was in the infirmary. She had a very good memory for those kinds of things. When he sat down, she reached over and put a hand on his arm, cleaning the area first (God knows why) and slipped the needle in.]

This will put you to sleep so hopefully you won't feel anything more.

[Edward released Jonathan once the injection had been given. There was no point in sticking around if his paranoia wouldn't be soothed with answers.

With a sigh, he stood up.]

If he needs to be transferred to the infirmary, let me know. [Not that he wanted to carry Jonathan anywhere, but it would look suspicious if he simply left.]

[So helpful, Eddie. But Crane is very glad that you're leaving. But oops, he's got a needle in his arm and is suddenly feeling very light headed.]

Thank you. [Said, to Sveta.] And thank you, Nygma. [There was nothing like one last attempt at insulting sarcasm when you were on the verge of passing out.]
